About Maxford

A full school on one campus, from the first day to the board exam

A child can join us in Playgroup and leave after Class XII without changing schools once. That continuity is the point. Teachers who taught a student in Class VI still see them in the corridor in Class XI, and the school knows the family, not just the roll number.

The campus sits at Tatarpur Choraha on the Khairthal road, on a single plot of 8,500 square metres, with a full playing field alongside the teaching blocks. Buses run to the town and the villages around it.

  • Affiliated to CBSE, affiliation number 1730792
  • Science, Commerce, and Arts streams in Classes XI and XII
  • Science and computer laboratories, library, and smart classrooms
  • An NCC unit, stage productions, and inter house sport through the year

On the campus

What is on the campus

Facilities that are on the timetable rather than kept for visitors.

Laboratories and smart classrooms

Physics, chemistry, biology, and computer labs for the CBSE practical syllabus, and smart classroom equipment used for subject teaching rather than left in a cupboard.

NCC unit

Cadets train through the year and lead the Republic Day and Independence Day parades. It gives students who are not academic high flyers something serious to be good at.

Field, stage, and English conversation

A full playing field for athletics and team sport, a stage that gets used for real productions, and spoken English classes so students can hold a conversation, not only pass a paper.

Academics

Four stages, one campus

Fifteen class levels, from Playgroup through to Class XII board candidates.

From the Executive Director

What we want for your child

A report card tells you a small part of the story. What we watch for is whether a child asks questions in class, whether they help someone who is struggling, and whether they can sit with a hard problem without giving up. Marks follow from those habits. We build the habits first.

Parents are welcome on campus during office hours. If you want to see a normal school day rather than a prepared tour, say so and we will arrange it.

Executive Director, Maxford International School
