The school

Maxford International School is a CBSE affiliated senior secondary school at Tatarpur Choraha on the Khairthal road, in Khairthal-Tijara, Rajasthan. Our affiliation number is 1730792. Over a thousand students study here, from Playgroup through to Class XII.

The school exists because families here were sending children out of town for a CBSE education, or settling for whatever was nearby. We wanted a school close to home that did not ask parents to compromise on either count.

What the campus is

A single plot of 8,500 square metres at the edge of town: a three storey teaching block, science and computer laboratories, a library, smart classrooms, an auditorium, and a full playing field. Everything sits on one site, which is why a child can move from Playgroup to Class XII without ever changing schools.

What we are working on

Widening the range of activities so more students find something they are good at, strengthening laboratory and library use across every grade, and getting information to parents faster when something changes with their child.

Our vision

A school where a child from Khairthal can be prepared for any university in the country, and leave with the judgement and decency to be worth having there.

Message from the Chairman

A school is judged over years, not terms

We did not build this school to be the biggest in the district. We built it so that a family here would not have to put a ten year old on a long bus ride to another town for a decent education. Five acres, laboratories, a field, an NCC unit: none of that was cheap, and all of it was chosen because children need somewhere to grow into, not just somewhere to sit.

What I ask of our teachers is straightforward. Know the child in front of you. Tell the parents the truth about how their child is doing, early, even when it is not what they want to hear. A school that only reports good news is not helping anybody.

Message from the Executive Director

Every child arrives good at something

Some of it shows up in a mathematics paper. Some of it shows up on a stage, on the field, in an NCC drill, or in the way a student explains something patiently to a classmate who did not follow the lesson. Our job is to find that thing early and give the child room to be serious about it, while the academics are kept strong underneath.

A report card tells you a small part of the story. What I watch for is whether a child asks questions in class, whether they help someone who is struggling, and whether they can sit with a hard problem without giving up. Marks follow from those habits, so we build the habits first.

Parents are welcome on campus during working hours. If you would rather see an ordinary school day than a prepared tour, tell the office and we will arrange exactly that.

What is on the grounds

Facilities are shared across grades on a timetable so they are used every day rather than kept for show.

Smart classrooms

Ventilated rooms with proper seating, boards, and display space for student work, with smart classroom equipment used for subject teaching.

Science laboratories

Physics, chemistry, and biology laboratories with the apparatus required for the CBSE practical syllabus, plus a computer laboratory for Classes VI and above.

Library

Reference sets, subject texts, competitive examination material, story collections for junior readers, and periodicals. Open through the school day.

Playing field and sport

A full field for athletics, football, cricket, and kabaddi, with courts for basketball and volleyball and indoor space for chess, carrom, and table tennis.

Transport

School buses covering Khairthal and the villages around it, charged by distance slab from three kilometres up to twelve and beyond.

Safety

CCTV coverage of corridors and the gate, fire safety equipment maintained to schedule, a first aid room, and staff trained in basic emergency response.
